 | Working GroupsThe UKCeB Task Force sponsors and facilitates a number of Working Groups, each focused on a specific aspect of collaborative information sharing. Their purpose is to identify and progress issues - and to develop advice and guidance for the benefit of Team Defence. Representation includes UK Ministry of Defence (and other Government Departments where appropriate) as well as industry. Participation is open to representatives from UKCeB member organisations and others by invitation. Minutes of meetings and other outputs from Working Groups are available on the members' area of this website. Joint Supply Support Working Group (JSSWG) The SSCOI provides a forum to spread awareness, knowledge and best practice within the Supply Support arena Learning & Development Working Group (L&D WG) Purpose: To establish common methods of recognition for Supportability Engineering and Support/ Supply Chain Management professionals to UK Engineering Council Specifications. This includes Engineering Technologist (EngTech); Incorporated and Chartered levels. The purpose of the UK S5000F WG is to act as a focal point for all UK activity relating to the ASD specification S5000F. This specification covers Operational and Maintenance Feedback, providing UK representation and input as required into the international ASD/AIA S5000F Steering Committee meetings and activities. The Whole Life Cost Modelling Working Group The Whole Life Cost Modelling Working Group, (WLCM WG), will seek to identify and promulgate good practice in life cycle cost modelling across the UK Defence sector and contribute to the realisation of the JSCM vision. The CIWG works to accelerate the implementation of a computing and communication infrastructure that supports and enables collaborative working within, and to the mutual benefit of, the defence community. As well as the main CIWG meetings shown below, you are welcome to join monthly CIWG management sessions (1330 - 1530) held at the UKCeB Briarlands office with teleconference availableon 4th Feb, 6th Mar, 9th April, 8th May, 3th June, 9th July, 6th Aug, 2nd Sept, 8th Oct, 5th Nov and 3rd Dec. To support and drive implementation, exploitation & coherence of MOD procurement (P2P) & supply chain systems in the sharing & exchange of information with Trading Partners. Identify & resolve issues in management of information through-life in collaborative environments: data quality, information exploitation, information architecture governance & planning. Joint Obsolescence Management Working Group Forum for Team Defence to discuss and prmulgate existing and developing Policy, Advice and Guidance on Obsolescence Management matters Supports MoD on coherent technical documentation support solutions & development of supporting pan-MoD Technical Documentation Policy, Advice & Guidance Joint Services Publication (JSP) 886 - a repository for Joint Support Chain (JSC) policy, processes and guidance; for use DE&S, Front Line Command (FLC) logistic staff & by Industry. Security and PKI ID Management To provide better ways of working on Information Security matters by identifying key issues, developing guidance and influencing policy including the introduction of Public Key Infrastructure.
