This 10-week Study culminated in a presentation at the Defence Information 2013 Conference. It involved 10 ‘Digital Natives’ working in Aerospace & Defence organisations.
The UKCeB participates in project work coordinated by Aston University in the area of servitization - the addition of services to increase a company’s competitive edge. Current programmes include Exploiting Servitization in West Midlands SMEs (ERDF) and Gamification for Servitization (EPSRC). The Green Box is made up of representatives from the MOD and a number of industry providers. Currently, the Green Box is working to define how Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) requirements should be incorporated into the MOD’s and industry’s future logistics information services requirements, so that logistics systems will protect and enhance the needs of both MOD and the CLS providers.
