The UKCeB Council is chaired by Nigel Whitehead, BAE Systems Group Managing Director, Programmes and Support. Council members are senior figures from UKCeB's membership – click on the Council link in the top menu to see the current members. The Council reviews the UKCeB’s performance against agreed strategic goals and helps define its future agenda.
JIG Strategy Board
The JIG Strategy Board (JIG SB) is a senior level, MoD/Industry standing committee tasked with accelerating the sharing of information to support collaboration through-life in defence acquisition and support. In order to meet these challenges and respond to the Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS) the JIG sponsored the JIG Portfolio Project to identify the priority activities and management processes required to transform secure information sharing. JIG SB meetings are held half yearly, alternating with the JIG Communications Delivery Board (JIG CDB). The JIG Portfolio Management Board (JIG PMB) meets quarterly. JIG CDB
The JIG Communications Delivery Board (JIG CDB) meets at six monthly intervals, alternating with the JIG Strategy Board (JIG SB). Its Goals and Objectives are to:

Ensure all stakeholders have the opportunity to understand and comment on the vision, context, required capabilities, strategic direction, roadmap, project definition and progress;

Share information and good practices;

Allow important issues and risks to be made visible for action.
The JIG CDB meetings include a senior MOD briefing and debate on key issues.
JIG PMB
The JIG Portfolio Management Board (JIG PMB) oversees progress on a range of JIG Portfolio Projects. Its Goals and Objectives are to:

Provide a high level steer for the set of authorised projects needed to meet the business needs as defined by the Strategy Board;

Identify new opportunities for transformation through the Front Door Process;

Ensure the development of business cases for new transformation needs and submit to Strategy Board;

Ensure programme management by project & across the Portfolio, addressing risks and issues to ensure coherence, interoperability, reusability & interconnectivity between MOD & Industry;

Escalate business cases and unmitigated risks to the Strategy Board.
Defence Reference Group
The UKCeB Defence Reference Group (DRG) is the defence industry representative forum that provides advice and support to the UKCeB Task Force and the Working Groups in meeting the UKCeB mission.
UKCeB AGM
The UKCeB AGM is chaired by Nigel Whitehead, Group Managing Director, Programmes and Support BAE Systems and comprises senior figures drawn from UKCeB's membership.
